It's Been 20 Days

It's been about 20 odd days since I last made a post, and hopefully, someone out there was wondering what was going on. In the last post I mentioned that I had "big plans" for the summer, and that is all surely coming into fruition. Faster than I thought actually. This summer I will be interning for Philadelphia skate shop/brand AUF Philadelphia, working within design and marketing. A big step for someone who is only 16 years old (not to sound pretentious or anything of that nature). It only seems right, starting my 5 year long plan in the city that made me: Philadelphia. And skate culture and street wear is something I have immersed myself in and have been interested in for quite some time, and I'm happy, excited, etcetera to finally be able to make a huge contribution to that spectrum of culture and contribute to the culture of a city I love. So what does that mean for the blog?

What that means for the blog is that I'm making the transition from Take2ofthese into a far more grandiose platform (I guess that's the right word). There is really only a few more posts left: this one, and maybe three or four more. I'm sure everyone is wrapped up in the buzz built up by The Madbury Club and all that surrounds it,  but I can tell you right now this will not be that. This next project, whose name will not be released for creative "I don't want my shit being jacked" purposes is the documentation of a new beginning. The beginning of my road to success. If you've been following the blog for the past year or so you probably come across a post or two where I've been confused about my future and what I want to do. I'm ready and I know what I do with myself and my life, time to make things happen. No sleep, no breaks. Dreams are for those who'd rather have dreams than live them. In the meantime, it's time to start living. Since today was the last day of school, a few friends and I decided we would drive and drive and go wherever the roads lead...this is what we found, a few spots of the heartland in the middle of Maryland.
