When It Starts To Get Warmer

The warmth of the summer has arrived early. Crazy how warm it is now seeing that just 3 months ago I couldn't get out of my house because of all the snow in front of it. Even my mood (along with a few others) has changed as a result of the spring/summer turn around. I've become a lot more proactive and want to do more with my time, more than I already did at least. With my junior soon coming to a close and my senior on the horizon I'm starting to think more about college and where I will be after college. I mean for the most part I already have that planned out, but I'm starting to get into the specifics and what not, all the expenses, as well as looking at summer programs (e.g. Barnard in New York and Georgetown in D.C.). It's about that time, getting to the point in my life where I will truly find myself, enjoy the ride, I sure am hoping to do so. And with all this preparation for the summer: I NEED TO FINALIZE ON A JOB OF SOME SORTS. I've booked photo shoots but those are temporary things, so I need to have something that will last a bit longer. I've talked to a few folks at American Apparel regarding a creative position, emailed UBIQ in Philly, talked to a few connects about internships and what not...I just need to finalize on one of these many opportunities. Worst comes to worst I'm stuck in the 'burbs working for the local government. But who am I to complain, in a climate where people twice even three times my age can't find a job and I can, I've got to be thankful and count my blessings.  Let's pray that one of these doors open and I can gracefully walk through it....
