Fresh Fade & A Lineup

Now Playing - Little Brother x Joe Scudda "Lovin It"
I have to be honest with you, I'm a bit hesitant when it comes to switching barbers and such. Hair to me, especially my hair, is something that not everyone is able to handle and care for like your barber is. I actually feel a bit bad, because I've gone to the same neighborhood barbershop for about 6 years, since I was a young bul as my heads back home would put it, so switching barbers was a bit of a big deal (I guess you could put it in those words). But hey, since prom is tomorrow, I figured I'd take a chance, its rare that me taking a risk has backfired on me, so why not you know? So I headed into the streets of SouthEast D.C. today over to the big homie Dre's shop and got a bit more than I bargained for. Fresh fade, line-up, shave, and met somebody who is probably one of the most genuine people out there. One thing I'm big on when I go get my hair cut is what goes on during the main course: the actual cutting. I don't care what we're talking about or who we're talking about, but I can't stand sitting in the chair in complete utter silence. It could be on and off too, but as long as we're chopping it up well, we're good. Especially in black culture, the barbershop is essentially the place where males convene and discuss any and everything, whether it be in reason or not. If thats not happening at the barbershop, where else will it? You could zeke my hair (look it up if you haven't been put on to that) but if the conversation was good, I might let it go...eh, I'm not going to lie to you all, that will never happen. Took a few photos while out and about, peep it. What a beautiful day it was, getting the weekend off to a good start.
